An entry with some meat
I realized that most of my entries haven´t had as much insight as I would have liked, so this one will be better, i promise
Other than sleeping until noon almost everyday....
I have been debating over quite a few different things this last week, since i really haven´t had much to do.
I have decided that Madrid is definately not where I would like to be for a few reasons:
-cost of living is very high
-deep down i don´t want to live in such a big city, visit yes, live no
-if i teach english there i will be traveling 3 hours a day and my work day will be from 8am-9pm in most cases since classes are always spread out over the entire city.
I am around 90% sure that I will move to tarifa after the holidays, because although I have become accustomed to sevilla, i feel that it is just not where i would like to be. Tarifa just had something about it that I can´t really explain. And when can i do this, if not now?
And one more point of honesty before i finish:
When I first arrived I was set on teaching full time no matter where I was in Spain, but now I realize that I don´t have to teach to be able to travel. Since I am increasing my fluency in spanish it will not be as hard as I thought (still a bit hard, but not intensely) to get just a regular job (a regular job in spain is only around 25 hours a week or less, therefore you can still live, and not just work [like I felt I was doing a lot of back home])
I have to remember that my goal is not to be a teacher, it is to learn languages and experince as much as I can while I am here.
