(no subject)
Today was like any other day I guess. I opened up the bookstore today and sat around bored. Okay i wasn't that bored because i was working on chapter 6 of "convictions of the heart." The Eiji/Fuji part is going to be so adorable, i'm putting alot of work into those two. Carolyn came in and we talked abit about nothing really. Then finally i left...but now i remember that i forgot to clock out! oh well i'll call saturday to remind someone to fix it. But chinese class was really interesting too. We learned alot of new...umm i forgot the word for chinese characters.
We learned January through December 一月 Through 十二月
then we learned
今年-jinnian- this year
明年-mingnian-next year
去年-qunian-last year
She taught us how to say stuff in the past tense. It feels weird because Chinese doesn't have a past tense version for verbs(thank god!) so we use past tense words.
我去年去六月中国。
i went to china last june.
我去年去二月日本。
i went to japan last february
去 means to, but when i added last year (去年) it made the verb past tense. I like this alot better than the japanese system, this one is way less confusing.
多-means both or in second tone it means how
我有很多朋友。
Anyway, i was looking in my dictionary and i found some interesting japanese words
なんでも-which means "everything, anything, whatever"
now when i was watching Saikano...the guy asked his girlfriend what was wrong and she said
なんでもない-which means nothing...but..なんにも also means nothing. Then i remembered Tsurui sensei say that..."nandemonai" means that something's wrong and you don't want to talk about it. "Nanimo" literally means nothing...i have to put that into my "words to say" list lol.
then i was translating luna sea's song gravity...and i'm still a bit lost, but i came across some interesting words

Right now i'm listening to できしめる ほか に なにが できるんだろう (what can i do except hold you) from sensual phrase and i have to say i love this song so much. I've been putting off listening to most of that series music, but now i'm in love with this song. I've been sitting here translating the lyrics and i love them! (yea when i'm bored i translate songs!)

yea but anyway, my little brother is coming home tomorrow. I haven't seen him since april. So i'm pretty happy about that...
also i have to start writing this letter to this judge for my other little brother *sigh* being the oldest, is so hard because i feel like i have to look out for all 6 of my younger siblings!
yesterday morning i saw the last episode to pre-tear. Pre-tear is such an awesome anime that ends too soon. But it was really good! i mean really really good to only be 13 episodes...
well..i guess that's all for now, since it took me hours to make this post...(i started at 8pm and now its 12am...i've been getting distracted in between).
