While I doubt we need to worry about radioactivity drifting across the pacific unless things go catastrophically wrong (they've not, yet)... now would be a great time for everyone to make sure their potassium iodide pills haven't expired or anything. I actually replaced mine in December...

You must decide for yourself... maybe the Government will get them to everyone in time, if it were needed.
Of course, if you know me, you know how I feel about waiting for the Government to save you. I mean, look how well they took care of the people when Katrina hit!
