ComiCon 2010
Okay, finally something about ComiCon. This year, I had a much better time than last year, even though I was again unable to get in to any of the panels I wanted to. Sheesh... I know in the past at ComiCon, I never had to wait more than a couple of hours to get in; nowadays I wait a couple of hours and get turned away. Why the hell don't they clear the rooms out between panels? This year there was nothing so ridiculous as last year's four-hour wait for the Dollhouse panel, during which the line advanced about twenty spaces before the panel began and I was still so far back that I couldn't even see the place... but, that's probably because I was not so willing to wait around this year...
Dragon*Con is coming up in a few weeks. Last time I was there they cleared rooms between panels... I sure hope they still do. This habit people at ComiCon have of camping out overnight (literally... at 8:00pm Saturday night, there were people forming a line for Sunday morning) to get in to the halls and then sitting there all freaking day is ridiculous... didn't somebody get stabbed in the eye over a "disagreement" over seats?

Speaking of zombies, here's Max Brooks and I as we finalize our plans for when the dead rise..
I've a number of pictures I haven't uploaded yet of things on the show floor. Here's one I have put up... I just thought it was cool... and yes, they were making appropriate sound effects as they went about...
I was able to get some hangout time with some really cool people... here's Marian Call and I, at one of the two shows of hers I was able to get to (she actually did three shows)
Yeargh, I look like a dork! I got to see her at a place in Venice later that week, too! heh...

And last but certainly not least, here's sara013 and I... though she's doing her usual shy thing and hiding behind what she calls the "best bunny evar" and I call downright creepifying...
