update, update, update !!
somehow i lost the momentum to update ~ but no update, no gd. ダメ ねDAME ne~~~
there are so many news floating ard.. need to catch them all ~but now abit blur myself.
FIRST OF ALL!! Arashi's Ninomiya has a new play !
Ninomiya plays killer in "Strangers on a Train" (from Tokyograph)Arashi's Kazunari Ninomiya will be performing in his first stage play in four years. He has been given the starring role in "Strangers on a Train" ("Mishiranu Joukyaku"), opening this summer.
The play is based on the popular novel of the same name, which was turned into a film by Alfred Hitchcock in 1951. The suspenseful story tells of a wealthy young man named Bruno who happens to meet an up-and-coming architect named Guy during a train ride. They each have their own difficult personal circumstances, and Bruno proposes that they "exchange" murders - Bruno will kill Guy's unfaithful wife if Guy kills Bruno's father.
Robert Allan Ackerman, who has handled several Broadway productions, will produce the play. Ninomiya has been cast as the wild and devilish Bruno, while Kumiko Akiyoshi plays his mother. Shige Uchida is also part of the cast. Coincidentally, Akiyoshi previously played Ninomiya's mother in the 2003 movie "Ao no Hono," which also featured Ninomiya as a killer, though under different circumstances.
"Strangers on a Train" is being performed at The Globe Tokyo from July 18 to August 11.
Somehow, i felt it suits him ~ cos Nino do haf that creepy look ~ or rather cunning look. I seem to have some impression of this story, seem to hear it from somewhere else before... but based on the plot, it shld be a nice one.

a new series of AU CM is out ~ so a new song, Everything, is used for the CM.
and there is a new song also ! called GREEN ~ is in conjuction of ECO week. This yr's personality is Sakurai Sho ~ he takes over Kanjani8 who were the last yr's personality.
so how many new songs Arashi is gng to launch this yr?!! are they gng to launch 10 yr SP Album !!? i'll buy if they released, hmmm.. buy next yr when it is cheaper? lolz ~

Takahisa Masuda's first starring stage role (Source: Tokyograph)
Takahisa Masuda (22) of NEWS has landed his first starring role in a play this November, titled "Ame no Hi no Mori no Naka." Masuda has performed in stage shows before, but this will be his first time taking the stage in a true acting role.
The play is written and produced by Masafumi Nishida, who was one of the screenwriters for the hit drama series "Maou." The story is an original slapstick comedy about a college student (Masuda) whose car runs out of gas, stranding him and a friend (Mitsuki Tanimura) in the woods on a rainy day. They eventually end up at an old boarding house, but it seems suspicious. As it turns out, Masuda's character gets frightened very easily by the incidents that occur, while Tanimura plays the much more strong-willed character.
This yr is a good yr for Piggy Massu. "Rescue" drama, then album , then now a butai ~ happy for him ~
haiz.... ever since i watched the DVD of Never Ending Wonderful Story Concert, whenever i eat 小龍包, it will jus reminds me of Massu ~

NEWS member Tomohisa Yamashita has the lead role in Fuji TV's upcoming Monday night drama series, tentatively titled "Buzzer Beat ~Gakeppuchi no Hero~." His female lead this time is actress Keiko Kitagawa, who graduated from Meiji University's School of Commerce one year after he did.
The love story has Yamashita playing a salaryman who belongs to his company's basketball team. Despite his appearance, he is completely weak under pressure when it comes to work and romance. Although he has a girlfriend (Saki Aibu), he falls in love with a spirited and cheerful woman who is unable to be straightforward (Kitagawa).
Shihori Kanjiya plays Kitagawa's friend, while Hideaki Ito serves as Yamashita's rival in love. Junpei Mizobata, Nobuaki Kaneko, Miki Maya, and Masaru Nagai are also part of the supporting cast.
Yamashita's only experience with basketball so far is in classes at school, so he is undergoing special training for two weeks. "Buzzer Beat" premieres in July.

NEWS to host "24 Hour Television" Tue, April 28, 2009 (1:23am EDT)NTV has announced that its annual charity telethon "24 Hour Television" will have popular boy band NEWS as its main personalities this year. Now in its 32nd year, the telethon has featured Johnny's talents for seven years straight.
This year's telethon will be at Tokyo Big Sight instead of the usual Nippon Budokan. The event, whose theme is "START! ~Ippo wo Fumidasou~," will be held on August 29-30.
Nishikido to star in "24 Hour Television" drama Fri, June 5, 2009 (6:45pm EDT)
With boy band NEWS hosting this year's annual "24 Hour Television" program on NTV, member Ryo Nishikido (24) has been chosen to star in the telethon's customary drama special. Ryosuke Yamada (16) of Hey! Say! JUMP has also been cast in the show.
The drama is titled "Niini no Koto wo Wasurenaide" and is based on a book by writer Masumi Kawakami. Nishikido plays a young man named Keisuke Kawai, who aspired to become a physicist since he was young. His hopeful parents send him to an expensive college prep school, but at the age of 15, during his third year of junior high, he is diagnosed with a brain tumor. Told that he only has one year to live, he falls into despair, giving up on treatment and even lashing out against his own mother. Ultimately, with the support of his family, he struggles with the tumor for eight years before dying at the age of 23.
Keisuke's younger brother will be played by Yamada, while his parents are played by Hitomi Kuroki (48) and Takanori Jinnai (50). Yumi Shirakawa (72) plays the grandmother.
"24 Hour Television" is going on the air on August 29-30. "Niini no Koto wo Wasurenaide" will be broadcast on the night of August 29.
