Every Day A New Adventure
Winter's conferences went well last night. People at Fraser and at his Elementary school adore him so much. he has grown in so many ways that I have taken for granted. He pushes himself everyday to do more, to be more and to keep trying. He wants to do what so many other kids are doing, even when the wiring in his brain tells him that it is scary or wrong.
He gave me a small tour of his school, showing me where Room 51 is where he calms his body if he is angry or tense- he can yell and kick and stomp around until he is better. There is also Room 43 where he goes if he is tired or upset and needs quiet alone time. And the library where he goes when he wants to read when he is happy.
I suggest that we all put a Room 51, a Room 43 and a Library in every home and business. I have a feeling that the world would really be a more peaceful place.

To swing the pendulum the other way there is a standing pool of water at the bottom of the basement stairs. No water in all the surrounding rooms, but right there by the stairs it sits stinking up the house. Never thought I would really want an Indoor pool.
