A great HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the one and only NAKAMARU YUICHI of KAT-TUN. I wish he has lots to smiles for on his birthday and the rest of this year. May you have many more success in the entertainment industry.
To honour his birthday, I'll post my first ever KAT-TUN fanfic. It's not much but it's still a nice gesture? :D
Title: Six Knights at the Round Table. - OneShot
Author: Me and Friends
Fandom: Gen KAT-TUN
Genre: Humour? I hope. (G)
Disclaimer: This is all made up. I have never met KAT-TUN and I don't know if they even heard of Maple Story.
Bad Summary: A late night with KAT-TUN on their tour.
Author Notes: Only the original fic is done by me. Thanks for
fionnakreuz for many suggestions and corrections. Thanks to my non-LJ Friend for proofreading and correcting almost all of my sentences and completely change the lame ending. Hence, 1/3 of the fic belongs to me. The other 2/3 of the fic belong to for
fionnakreuz and my non-LJ Friend. Without them, the fic will be so much lamer and full of many more mistakes than it is now. The title is not even mine.
It's supposed to be a drabble but somehow it turns out to be too long and becomes a oneshot. I only pick this plot because I feel the most familiar with it.
Maple Story is an online multiplayer game. My friends, family and I have been playing this game on and off for quite awhile. There is a Japanese server for MS.
- Your characters in MS can party with other characters and fight monsters together as a team.
- Jr. Balrog & Mushmom
- When you a character dies, he/she becomes a floating ghost on top of a tombstone.
- Taguchi's little notebook refers to the notebook which he supposedly write down everytime he spends/buys something. Kame mentions this in Meringue no Kimochi (19.01.08)
- Jin's Janji Hat idea comes from reading luna-rainbow's hilarious post.
“Die you die die die die die!” a scream that resounded across the hallways of the hotel.
“Kill him! Come on, useless people.” Jin’s hands danced off the game pad that now rested poorly on the edge of the table.
“Heal me…” Ueda muttered.
“I said heal me! I’m dead and now you heal!”. Ueda cursed and turned to glare at Maru’s head across the table. His character floated around aimlessly beside the tombstone while Maru’s character gleefully spammed his heal button.
“Why didn’t you heal me? You’re a healer, it’s your job to heal people!” Ueda cried out and kicked Nakamaru’s feet under the table -- or what he thinks is Nakamaru’s feet.
“Ow, Ueda, don’t kick me.” Kame whined. He is so not going to sit next to Ueda the next time they play online games. Kame was set on his decision with his eyes fixed on the little mini characters. “Maru, why didn’t you heal Ueda. He’s right. You ARE a healer.”
“Hey I’m not your freaking healing pot. Your endless supply of rechargeable battery.” Maru spoke through grinded teeth.
“This is why I name this character IHealNoOne. Buy your own potion. Cheap ass. Take care of your own self! I want to attack too, not always follow you idiots around keeping you alive.” Maru continued.
“I can’t,” Now Ueda started to whine too. “Yesterday Taguchi wasted all my potions when he ran straight to
Jr. Balrog and tried to attack him uselessly. Let me emphasize TRIED.” Ueda sighed and slipped his slender fingers through his hair.
“I forgot to restock before we set out for Mushmom today.” Ueda added and raised a hand to smack Taguchi. However Taguchi had noticed that his little memo book had fallen out of his shorts and leaned slightly to grab it - so Ueda’s hand flew through air. “How can a level 40s kill a level 80 boss?!”
Taguchi, in return, beams the infamous megawatt smiles. “Hahaha, yesterday was fun. We should visit Jr. Balrog again tomorrow.” His character had already died today and now his focus is on Jin’s screen and profanities.
Koki who sat between Ueda and Taguchi, with his character still alive, mind you, leaned over to hit Taguchi’s head using his own head. “SHUTT UPPP”.
The sound of a tombstone falls to the ground one after another can be heard and Kame sighed looking at the five tombstones which gave him an excellent idea for the next concert. He leaned his head back against the couch. He sleepily looked at Jin who was still valiantly trying to kill
Mushmom by his lonesome and heroic self. “Jin give up already…there’s no way you can kill him when all 5 of us died already.”
“But she doesn’t have much health left to her. I can do it”. All of them leaned in only to see the MISS MISS flash above the peculiar orange mushroom bouncing around.
“No you can’t. Teleport back to town and save your self from loosing some experience if you die”. Kame retorted and leaned back to lie on his back.
“I laugh at the face of danger!” Jin exclaimed haughtily, then he turned his head towards Kame and spoke with confidence, “Yes I can.”
“No you can’t”.
“Yes I can.”
“No yo....”. Kame slurred. His groggy mind finally registers that Ueda is already flat on his back with his eyes close, presumably sleeping. Koki has also given in to Lady Sleep and has curled up into a ball. The only people who are wide awake now are Taguchi and Jin. Kame and Maru don’t really count since they only have half of their eyes open now.
“Jin it’s late. Just teleport back to town and quit the game. We have another concert tomorrow.” Kame groaned and finally closed his eyes to swipe away the annoyance in his mind.
Seeing that Jin clamps his mouth shut and doesn’t retort back but still refuses to quit. Kame sighed and stood up to stretch accidentally hitting Ueda’s face with his hand. “I bet you can’t kill Mushmom. If you die, I’m keeping your beloved Janji hat hostage tomorrow.”
Ueda hits Kame’s hands away half heartedly. Maru then tried to muster Ueda and Koki to go back to their hotel room to sleep but they just would not budge.
THREE HOURS LATER
Taguchi after long hours of waiting to see if Jin could accomplish the impossible, decided to retire to the bed that laid happily empty.
Meanwhile Jin sits valiantly still at his computer screen spamming his attack button hoping that his next hit would deal great damage. But as he was sure he was about to deal the final blow a high level assassin appeared and Mushmom was no more. Jin starred blankly at his laptop screen, the sound of technology wizzed through the room. And somewhere in Japan the sound of a person who got kill-stealed resonated.
“GAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
….......
Maru’s slumber was interrupted by the small sound of whining that came from Jin. He was also curled up on the floor but kept murmuring something in the lines of,
“Why? I was going to win the bet…”
Slowly Maru stood up and started turning off all electronics including his own laptop and the other members’ laptops . You should ALWAYS turn off your laptops and TV when you don’t use them. Even if this is a hotel. We all should not waste energy everyone, he reasoned.
THE END.
