New Heatlia Vietnam Sketch
I ADORE Himaruya's new Vietnam Sketch. There are indeed stories of strong women in our history. The VERY FAMOUS Trưng Sisters who rode elephants to go to war. Most of history was forbidden to be taught in school during my elementary school year, but the Trưng Sisters story were allowed to be taught in school every year. In a way, it was one of the few stories that were allowed to be taught made it even more memorable.
I like this Vietnam hairstyle too. I hope this is the styles that he finally chooses out of the 5-6 styles he was debating on. It's not the normal simple long hair & tied in the back style that many Vietnamese female in the past favoured during hard years. I wouldn't say this short bob in front and long in the back makes her boyish looking. I would say that this hairstyle fits a person who has to work a lot and the short bob in the front is easier to manage. Of course, I am biased. I favour this hairstyle for more than two years now. It's a fact I will never have long hair, it's easier for me to cosplay short-hair Vietnam. I just need to attach extension in the back.
The police/uniform style clothing she's wearing is easy to find. My father knows where to buy those kind of uniforms. That hat I'm not so sure. I think I'm going to the anime convention again in May and cosplay as Vietnam.
