Stupid hives, stupid hives

and stupid hives. Something in the Canadian air and wind that don't agree with me. I get the occasional hives on my body ever since I was 12 years old. Up till last month, I blame dust for giving me hive. One time, I blamed anchovies since I got hives ALL OVER my bod after I ate a dry anchovies snack. But that was a 1 time thing. They itch so much. Sometimes I dreamt I slept naked on a silk bed to alleviate the itch. That method won't help anyway.

I had a one-time stint with hives in China after I ate something with crab eggs in it. It was so terrible, and it itched like crazy. It feels so uncomfortable, and I can't imagine having them so often. ):

That actually sounds nice! But I hope you do find something that does help.

Hives itch alot but they tend to go away after 2 or 3 days. Plus I tend to blame my body for having an allergic creation to something. So I have never gone to the doctor for hives, ever. According to this website I just looked at

Some hives are caused by allergies to such things as foods, medications, and insect stings, but the large majority of cases are not allergic, and no specific cause for them is ever found. Although patients may find it frustrating not to know what has caused their hives, maneuvers like changing diet, soap, detergent, and makeup are hardly ever helpful in preventing hives and for the most part are not necessary.

It seems I'm screwed for life.
