House Shaking
5 minutes ago, I was sitting in my chair in my room. Suddenly I felt my house was lightly shaking O_______________O One brother in his room also felt the shaking, One brother in the living also felt the shaking. My Mom was standing at the time so she didn't feel the shaking.
We guessed maybe something exploded somewhere underground. 2 Minutes ago, my brother's girlfriend phoned him and said she felt her apartment shook too. She lived 3-4 intersections away.
Something must have exploded somewhere or there was a minor earthquake. Eastern Canada does have its occasional small earthquakes. The earthquakes are usually too low for people to register it.
Edit: The TV reporter confirmed that it was a 5.5 5.0 earth quake. The tremor was felt in different places in Ontario, Quebec and some northern part of America.
lol Someone on the net posted "I survived Earth Quake Toronto 2010". I teased my Mom. She totally not felt the quake at all, therefore missed it. My Mom told me our dog felt the tremor coming before it occurred here. He left her, went near the flower bush and put his head into a hole. He refused to moved.
