tart! of fatalisms and popular belief...
hahaha... a new year, a new keyword introduced... ^_^
i was really expecting to face the new year in my miroku hair... but my uber fatalistic parents does not want to have bad luck sneaking in the household... well at least for my mom (my mom and dad had a quarrel a week before christmas and yes, war is not yet over)
well, I got the "tart" thingamajig long ago when I am still a fan of the g'ol radio with matching missing dial knobs, a broken antenna and a tape-eating cassete player...
I got acquainted with the word when I listened to an AM morning show that starts exactly from the time I was forced to woke up, 4:30 AM
the show usually starts with a short intro, stating the show's name and its anchors, then one of the anchors would push a button repeatedly in order to repeat the show's intro spiel in rapid succession... then the male anchor would then shout, "GISING NA MGA TART!!!" (time to wake up sweetheart!) "Alas-seis na mga tart!" and the show would continue until 6:00 when a radio commentator-cum-rapper follows...
and the rest, as they would say, and after a barrage of text passes, is history...
kaya mga TART! paramdam naman kayo oh! ^_^
