Coming to an end..
Oh my I have been terrible at maintaining my LJ. Infact.. I've been terrible at maintaining anything outside of work, studies and family hahah.
Anyway my internship at IBM finishes in appromixately two weeks. I'll definitely miss the people I'm currently working with there. But also can't wait to just bum at home and do absolutely nothing. I'm missing school holidays so much ever since starting work. Hard to believe I've been working nearly a whole year.
During this year I've gained lots but also felt like I've lost some things. Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate this opportunity but I feel I've had to give up time with friends at uni. Often when I'm working, friends are free and when I'm free, friends are working on their part time jobs etc. And now that I'm going back to uni, most friends are graduating and starting their own path outside of uni.
I'm kind of glad I did two subjects during the internship. Even though it was hard in terms of time management it often gave me time outside of work just to relax and not think about work. Also gave me time to catch up with friends at uni, even though it was often just once or twice a week for a few hours.
To other friends outside of uni, you know who are you are, we'll need to catch up sometime. I can barely remember your face now hahah ^^;;
