Stacked Upon That.
Just read my previous post to see what I was typing away about - noticed I said Fans Humming for the music I was listening to. To clarify - my computers are getting to that lovely age where their fans start protesting if they're on for a couple hours. That's all.
Midgets vs Mascots - the phone lines, internet (tribecafilm.com), and walk-up (somewhere in NYC, oddly not Tribeca) happen for the public on 4/20. Oh, and 4/19 if you live in Manhattan and can show proof of residency. But wait - they went out (due to sponsorship) 4/14 to anyone who could buy them with American Express cards. And - all four screenings sold out, according to one of the producers ... in two hours. First of any. Insanity.
NOW I'm in a bit of a pickle. Got Chloe's mother coming from London. My step-mom coming with her nephew (it's his birthday, and he's down to have fun) - and then Peony (Chloe's sister) flying out from LA where she is for her rotations ... and NONE of them have tickets. There IS a rush ticket line where apparently 10 tickets are withheld until 15 mins prior to the premiere - and it looks like we'll be taking turns waiting in that 3 hours or so before it starts. Awesome. There's some sort of pre-party I'm to attend ... but we'll see how things go. At least there's a Sunday screening, which Hiro wisely said he'd go to ... due to friends, and most likely b/c there's a public pre-party with Scottie Pippen, Gary Coleman, and Ron Jeremy to attend. What a group! Well, more news on that after it happens. Next week.
CMT = Country Music Channel. Has picked up - Singing Bee. Wow - I now have a full time job! Did about 10 hours today ... and this is still the chill stage. In discussions to get Steven W. back out here from ATX ... hopefully that'll happen b/c if not ... I'm DEAD and the show most likely is gonna be haywire with everything going on - Day One (that's the new show I'm working on for NBC), indie short horror project, Tribeca, and lovely Cabo. Honestly - I love that Cabo is in there b/c - at least for ONE or TWO days - I can try to enjoy that I've spent at least a grand to have some all-inclusive pampering.
Interestingly enough - I finish work - and Chloe's out with Peony in Hollywood with their friend Amanda (who's Cabo's wedding we're to attend). It's interesting ... I'm working, she's (working) and partying. I think it's good for her ... now I get to have the sleeping dog. Hehe.
Well - just wanted to vent about how my life has become no free time life day. The best was yesterday - I was to show up for Singing Bee at 9:45am. I had a fitting in Culver City at 11am for Day One. I showed up 3 hours and 15 mins late to Singing Bee ... THEN had to cut out around 6:30pm so I could barely make it to my acting class from 7-10pm ... which I then cut out of b/c my good buddy Baldeep had booked a role on this new show Southland. Hehe, he gets handcuffed by Austin High's own Benji McKenzie. The world keeps getting smaller.
When it rains it pours - gotta remember one of these days to get my script outta the office and actually get ready to film again. Gotta remember what I'm trying to do here - not planning on SLASHing anytime soon.
