A (pompus?) attempt to be meaningful
have you ever noticed how dreadfully boring some journals inevitably are, my own included, before anyone takes offence. i feel this is possibly because most of us either aren't willing to put the realy private (and thus interesting) things happening in their lives in full view of a world of strangers, or that they try this and it turns out one persons interesting and dreadfully important message is anothers trivial and almost pathetic attempt to...... to what? be someone? do something?
I don't know that there is a point realy, perhaps these journals are just a bit of fun for some, an emotional lifeline or release for others, and maybe just something some of us do for the mere reason that other people are doing it. i guess that would come under the banner of trying to fit in/belong, something im sure everyone of you can relate to.
perhaps in future entery's il try a little more honesty and interest, but i don't knoiw that ilstil be feel so brave?confident next time.
