Well it's not as bad as it was back then when somebody copied my fic, word by effing word and posted it somewhere, claiming it as her own (and she had the NERVE to write an author's note like, "I spent a while writing this yadda yadda yadda~"). Translating my fic is fine, basically, as long as whoever is doing the translation puts my name on the author's section, and yes, informing me about it would have been nicer.
