Post -con depression

So anyway, I'm at school right now and supposed to be listening to my teacher talk about our high school career portfolio and choosing the right career and stuff like that. I'm sure that the information will be important, but my mom talks to me about that stuff all the time and I pretty much know everything that I need to know at this stage. But we have to do and assignment on it so I guess I should listen for now.

Crap, I just remembered that I have my other portfolio due sometime soon too. orz

Anyway, the main event last week was MTAC, which started off pretty normal and bordering on dull, but turned out to be incredible by the last 2 or 3 hours. I woke up at around 7:30 on Saturday and headed off to nyatsuuuu's house at around 8. 093007 slept over the night before and they were already working on the tattoo. They painted it using acrylic and the sprayed massive amounts of hairspray onto it to keep it in place.

After that, we got on our costumes on and I'm still really happy that the paint didn't flake off. Natsume helped me to cut my hair and the style it afterwards, but my hair wouldn't stay up so we had to use huge amounts of hairspray and a hair drier to only just keep it up.

We took some more time to finish makeup and gather some of the stuff that we need and went downstairs to eat breakfast and make lunch. Nya and Miharu already made onigiri the day before and there was even a boss onigiri that Miharu made. lololol Nya made sweet tamagoyaki and Miharu and I cut up the cocktail sausages into octopi. :D

We met nashipon and her parents at Finch station at around 10:30 and it was kinda uncomfortable standing out in the open with our bright orange jumpsuits while everyone was staring at us, but we got used to it after a while. Apparently, kazunometsuki , idagger , and our Squalo were already there and waiting for us at the skybridge. I felt kinda bad making them wait for so long, but they were camwhoring nearby so at least they had something to do.

We got there at around 11:30 and paid for our admission and walked around the dealers room for a while, getting stopped a few times for our picture. I saw a few Narutos, two Death the Kids, Sora, Riku, that dude from Gravitation, and a few other people that I will remember later on. The pictures are on Facebook so people can check there if they want.

I got a poster of TYL!Tsuna that I absolutely love and it's hanging in my room at the moment. I also got a nice blonde wig for $25 and it's pretty good quality although I need to get a hairnet and cut it short for my UK cosplay and possibly a Finnian cos too. I was expecting to spend more at the con, but nothing else really caught my eye. Natsume and Miharu only bought pins.

We ate lunch at around 12:45 and it was really good, considering I didn't have much during breakfast because we were rushing so much. I wish we had thought ahead and brought something to drink. This was when the con started to get dull, and we kinda sat there for about and hour or so. We decided to get every Reborn cosplayer there to get a group photo, but it took us a little while before we got everyone together. Some people actually left before we got everyone together, but we took a few group photos and a few crack ones as well, which was pretty fun and lasted about half an hour.

We were about to go outside to take some more pictures when we were stopped by Amanda, who is a professional photographer and you can visit her site at www.elemental-photography.net. She asked if we would be willing to take a photoshoot at the parking garage at the convention centre. Of course, we were happy to go with her since it would mean having some awesome photos to look at later on. We took a few photos against the wall, pretending that we were going to vandalize it. Another we did against a car parked there. We saw a few of the photos afterwards and the lighting and everything was AWESOME. I can't wait to see how the photos turned out. We went out to find a few more cosplayers to take photos with us, but unfortunately, the Chrome that we saw wasn't there anymore, but we found a really good Spanner, Lambo, and another Hibari to take photos with us in the underground parking lot.

We left after the photoshoot was over and got back to Nya's at about 6:50? My parents were coming to pick my up at 7 so I had to get out of costume, wipe out make up, and flatten my hair, which was really hard considering how much gunk we put into it. - A -;;

In the end, MTAC was pretty amazing and I really can't wait for Anime North now. I'm still deciding if I want to go as Finnian or not, but I'm definitely going as UK for the Hetalia World Confrence on Sunday. Too bad Elemental isn't going to be there, but I'm hoping that I can get a scheduled time with her some time during the summer for some private photoshoots.

I want to get my computer back soon from my mom and get un-grounded. NOW. D: I guess I'll just sleep away the extra time that I have now. lolololol
