Because I can't let this slide:
I can forgive the incorrect expressions for y(t), though I wonder how the hell some of you managed to insert sin(theta) terms in there when this is linear motion along y.
I can forgive the too-early plug-and-chugs, because, when a helicopter is rising and drops a parcel after some time t, it's not that hard to forget that the parcel carries the velocity of the helicopter at that time. Not that it will earn you any points, but I forgive you.
I can even gloss over the complete ignorance that velocity is dy/dt. Calculus is unpleasant, I know.
BUT, for the love of God, 24 - 4 is NOT 4. WTFBBQ.
