You've probably noticed that I've  set up another blog  and that I have been crossposting the entries here.  I've been  meaning to  explain why I set up another blog  for the last week or  so , but have been too tired in the evenings, but now is the perfect time as it is the weekend and gives the opportunity to ask you whether you would like to see the entries.

I've been pondering setting up a blog outside livejournal for a while for several reasons:

• to practise writing in a less chatty than I do on livejournal
• to write about specific things I wanted to follow, particularly trying to get more organised
• to write about things I read in other blogs I read, particularly on organisation
• to discover if I could write a blog with more of a subject focus
• to learn about a different software package

However the spur came when I read a blog entry on the million dollar experiment.  It sounded interesting and I wondered how I could start, without spending any money.  Several of the blogs I read have google adverts on them and I wondered if it could work for me.  I knew I would get pleasure from something new, but thought hey if I could earn enough money to buy a book that would be an additional bonus.

I don't want to lose my blog here, because I really enjoy the community so I started crossposting all the entries (with different levels of success).  Anyway, I've been thinking about whether this is the right thing to do especially because the style of writing is different to what I write here.  I don't want to make a decision on your behalf, because hey you may enjoy my other writing, so I thought I'd let you have the say (and give me an excuse to create my first poll).
