Below the cut are a list of disability-related resources, from awesome activist blogs to fiction and non-fiction bibliographies, as well as two fanfic recs (both Supernatural) and links to two themed databases.
My favourite disability-related blogs are
FWD/Foward, or Feminists With Disabilities for a way Forward and Dreamwidth’s
Access Fandom, which often does great link roundups. Check FWD blogroll for further reading.
Screw Bronze’s Elizabeth McClung is particularly eloquent.
For all of your science fiction needs:
Decloaking Disability Bibliography:

not_refined’s
Somersault ‘verse with podfic
here, read by the fabulous
juice817.
I cannot rec this fic hard enough. It’s a wonderful portrayal of brain injury which acknowledges the difficulties and interpersonal-tension of acquired brain injury for both the PWD and those close to them without turning it into an overwrought tragedy or an inspirational story about overcoming the odds. Wincest, probably rated PG-13 or R.
wave_obscura writes a variety of disability-theme stories. My favourite is her current project,
Because of Houdini, which features Dean as his usual badass self while also living with cystic fibrosis.
Two disability fic databases:
