And just like that, I am back in school mode! How in god's name am I going to get all of this done! (Little pieces, I just have to break it down.)
I'm aiming for four 20 minute reading periods a day, excepting the days I have class, where I'll only be shooting for two. Depending on how well that goes, I may skip readings on Sunday and address my papers and other assignments on that day. Which isn't to say they'll be otherwise ignored; at least two 20 minute periods on those each day as well!
I am starting off another semester exhausted and stressed out to the gills; maybe it is time to stop thinking "It will be better when I am healthy!" and to just deal with the bad health by working through it. Bet you that'll be ten times more effective.
Also slightly intimidated by the stats portion of Research Methods, even though the prof seems more concerned with the theory than the application (likely my saving grace). Still. Just looking at all those algebriac equations and numbers recalls a vague sense of unease and frustration. Still. There was a time when I had no idea what a fraction was, even when faced with one, and when 1x4 was an impossibly challenging task. I've come further than I realise already.
To summarize: play it by the numbers and don't get yourself terrified by the numbers!
