cricket death and my recreation
I havent posted; so now I'll dive on in
My dorm is being plagued by crickets. I'm on the fourth floor and they are falling from the air vents. I love bugs so I don't like seeing them all pile up to die, but it isn't time effective to walk down four flights of stairs and then some to set them free. Last weekend some girls decided to spray them all, and like days later they were still twitching in agony. I put one out of it's misery but there were still thousands everywhere. My dorm became a cricket cemetary and it really stunk. When comparing the corpses of the sprayed ones compared to the one I smooshed they all looked singed, like they had been exposed to radioactive acid or something it was totally gross. They set traps and cleaned the halls (finally), so there are fewer now. Nevertheless, some manage to sneak through. There's one that was missing a leg that dwells in my favorite restroom stall, so I see him all the time. Today he put on this elaborate display of crawling toward me. He climbed onto my boots and up my jeans then just sat there near my knees. It was so dramatic; I even moved out of his way and he deliberately sought me out. I thought, maybe he's hungry and I smell like food. I got the wierdest impression that he had learned to recognize me and had designated me as his savior or something. I resolved to take him outside. I put him on a paper towel and had to keep adjusting it because he kept limping toward me. four stairwells and many wierd looks later I was outside and the cricket still clung to me. It wasn't until I forced him onto the grass that his deposition changed. He looked so relieved (I thought so anyway) and took a bounding leap away. I didn't know he had the kick in him to jump but it completely made my day.
Lets see, this semester I'm trying to earn scholarships so I can study abroad at Kansai Gaidai in Japan next year. I'm currently a member or the Japanese language and culture club, the densetsu anime society at Texas State, and soon to be co-founder of the Company of Gamers Geeks and Anime Freaks (sorry if someone else has a similar club name -_-') I'm determined to complete world developement, plot, character designs and storyboarding for my future webcomic. (I'm keeping most of it a secret but hope to start posting it online next semester) Though I might get sidetracked writing Naruto fanfiction; because I love kakaita and tsunashizu but have yet to find a fic I like.

Current games: KH2, Xenosage III, Space Channel 5, Naruto GNT3 and Narutimatehero 1 (well Ultimate Ninja-the dub one)
