interning
so, i started interning for this small clothing comp. called "line" and they do t-shirts for bands and record labels. their main label is dim mak, owned by steve aoki who is a big time dj here in l.a. and also boyfriend to a good friend of mine, brianna. she actually graduated from kadena in '98 and she is one awesome chic. i am so excited, today was my first day and i must say that it turned out good. i work with 3 guys and in fact, they are the only 3 people in the business. everyone is really cool and accepted me with open arms. i sort of have a crush on one of them, but it probably won't go very far since i am working with him now. but....we'll see. =0)
amy yoshikawa had her baby and i am finally a godmother. she had a 6 lb 14 oz girl that they named quinn airi u'i kalea and she is beautiful. they picked her first name the day she was born and amy has been wanting to give her airi as her japanese name. i was honored not only by being the godmother, but also by being able to give her her hawaiian name-u'i kalea-which means bright and beautiful. it is significant because my middle name also has the same meaning. i haven't met her and already i am madly in love with her.
