Save the (WEDDING) date!
In case you don't read animecat's LJ, we finally have an answer to everybody's question, "When's the wedding?"! The date is now set:
OCTOBER 4, 2008
Yes, that's next year... NOT nine days from now! That's a Saturday, with the ceremony hopefully in the afternoon. The church location remains TBD, but we know it will be here in Little Rock, and we're going with a fall/harvest color scheme (pumpkins & leaves > flowers & lace). The ceremony will be led by Dr. Dale Manor, whom you Hardingites will no doubt remember if you ever had a class with him. ;)
I'll quote AC's request over here: "I'm going to be sending out engagement notices to friends and family with the dates, etc. and a photo and Akela and I. If you would like to receive one, please comment here with your mailing address. All comments are screened, so no worries about the whole world seeing your address. And this goes for you local folks as well - I may know where you live, but that doesn't mean I have your mailing address!" All comments on this post and hers are screened, so either place will work!
