i know everyone is finishing school right now, but i have 5 weeks left. and i don't care. because i'm loving every minute of every day.
i have done exactly zero work for a week now...and have had SUCH a good time....
felt like a small child today because there was [is still] a carnival outside my window. it's amazing..these lovely freshman boys are playing right now...they're pretty fly. well, anyways, i felt like a small child because i'd just had some cotton candy, gotten my picture taken in the little booth [twice], and was holding a cherry snocone and a big coneful of popcorn, walking around grinning and trying to eat both at once while hangin out with all my fave kids. i love it here so much. it's still 77 outside, at 7, i get to watch the oc and pregame for a huge ka/slbc concert thing tonight, with the 17th floor, who did backup or somesuch with usher at tlc in the past. craziness i know. oh. and it was thanksgiving in the dining hall tonight. so much yummy food. well i have to shower and pregame, of course, so i'm out.

sidenote...these crazy smart kids at furman figured out how to use the leftover grease from the dining hall to make biodiesel to fuel stuff around campus...like lawnmowers and such. way to go. good thing to have around, esp since apparently the peak production of petroleum is supposed to hit BEFORE 2010...at least germany is trying to be completely independent of using petroleum by 2030...way to plan. we are all going to die because we won't be able to get water soon, either, according to my bio prof on our nature walk lab today...right after he talked about 'colors of the wind' from pocahontas.
yeah, it's been a really good day.
