TODAY'S MAGIC WORD IS: PROMOTION!!!
So, as I enter the homestretch in getting over this headcold which has had me miserable since Saturday, I get another piece of good news. My boss, Steve, called me this morning and gave me the good news that I would be getting a promotion at work. He had first mentioned it ages ago but it will finally be going into effect at the end of March. Basically, I would go from just being a Project Manager, where I just oversee individual projects and accounts, and would be a Section Manager, where I would oversee a whole divison of our office. I will have more people reporting to me and will hopefully see a significant raise because of it. I am very excited about this, and hope to see it turn into some more good opportunities at work...
