DID I JUST HEAR THAT RIGHT?

So, as I've been settling into the new football season and watching some games this weekend, I've seen this new series of commercials the NFL is running to promote its apparel line with the tagline "Everyday Is Like Sunday." Accompanying the commercials is the song "Everyday Is Like Sunday." And who sings this song? Morrissey! The most sensitive man on the planet is being used to advertise the toughest sport on the planet (well, maybe behind rugby...). Now the NFL ads use a cheesy cover band version of the song, so we don't actually hear the Mozzer crooning away at us for real, but it's undoubtedly his song being played.

The NFL + Morrissey = weirdest pairing I can think of in recent history.

Anybody seeing anymore "odd couples" lately on TV or elsewhere?
