Chapter 329 thoughts, anyone?

Hidan, who I do like, is an arrogant little prick. Not without reason, of course, but his attitude(the constant swearing/insults in particular) is kind of grating. He reminds me of the younger Valentine brother from Hellsing(Jan?), who I also like.

I do think it's kind of funny that he apparently just signed up for this without knowing anything about it. I mean, you'd think he would've at least been curious. Idiot. ^^;

I guess he wasn't at the meeting 2.5 years ago? Which means one of those shadow people was one of Kakuzu's late exes. ^_^ I'd love to see a Venture Brothers-style montage of Kakuzu killing all his former partners...Tobi is quite lucky he didn't get that position, eh? I don't think he'd have lasted long. :)

Their ultimate plans seem kind of like Big Boss/Liquid Snake's Outer Heaven in Metal Gear Solid, with the Bijuu substituting for the nukes. Kind of cliche, but still fun.

It makes me wonder, though, why did Orochimaru leave? And why does he feel such a need to wipe them out that he'd help killer demon-people who want him dead? Their goals seem similar to his, with his "motionless windmill" analogy to Sarutobi. And he couldn't have been unsatisfied with the end result. The only reason I could see him leaving is that he felt their existence was a threat to his immortality; in that light, it kind of reinforces the "Orochimaru is a Jinchuuriki" theory.

I like the brunette leader-guy. ^^ I love how calm he is in the face of the other members, not just with Hidan, but with Sasori when he was pissy about the sacrifices and with Itachi when he was pissy about giving away Naruto.

Anyways, I'm rambling, but I liked the chapter.
