Okay for this I COMPLETELY AND ENTIRELY blame roko_epsilon and her phenomenally cute chibi Akatsuki kitties.

Except that .. okay, yeah, I do do cute. But when faced with something like that I tend to feel I have no choice but to make them faintly creepy.
