orlandis for 6 hours
holy crap-- looong day- but not really.
woke up, sang in the bathroom for a half hour-- got ready for the day-- edited a little of Try Try Again while I waited for MikeMessier to show up and begin to edit his short play "Orlandis and his Puppets without Strings." an extremely surrealist play which I dreaded sitting and watching. But now since editing it into a very interesting and surrealist filmette, i enjoy it so much. Mike went off and taped Brandon A LOT and we edited it into a nice little short. Mike actually wants to take it and submit it to 5 Min Film Festivals. It was the first time i ever edited with overlapping dissolves and color techniques-- it was so much fun. And I get along with Mike a great deal too-- yeah, he's weird at times, but a good guy.
but i have orientation 9-1:30 tomorrow-- picking up Ryan at 8:15 --- then i'm going out with rachel!!! clothes shopping for her mexico trip and then dinner at the olive garden yum :)
but a long day of editing and short night of sleep (especially if I talk to rachel-- takes us 2 hours to say bye-- lol) then 'working' (getting paid for sitting around ;)
