I really agree with Laura about being open with your opinions. You know Alyssa, you are one of the most amazing women I know. When I was in 8th grade, I always thought of you as the perfect version of me. ... Well ... know that I know myself a lot better (and I'd like to think I know you a bit better), I know we're very different, but you are wonderful and friendly, kind and sweet. You know though, what I admired the most about you in 8th grade was your confidence. I think that if you worry less about others or trying to be nice or to help others and more about just being yourself, things would be easier. People need to earn your kindness through trust. Don't second guess yourself because of anyone. Besides, people believe appearances. If you think you are the hottest and most amazing chick around, other girls will too. If people don't respect you for who you are, they will once they really get to know you. =D We've had a lot of fun times, and you are incredibly fun. Remember Scott's party we went to? You may not go crazy and get wasted or anything, but you are classy and always always always a blast to talk to or be around. So let others do the listening and talk about yourself a little. Open up and they'll see the fabulous girl we do. =) and don't stress. Live's too short to waste on stressing. If they don't become nicer and better when they get to know you, they aren't worth it. No matter what. *muah!* *hugs and kisses*
