He was loath to admit it, but in spite of him professing that he’d rather be without knowing her feelings, he was rapidly becoming addicted and could now easily identify even weaker emotions in her. When he wasn’t wearing the ring, his own lacking emotional variety - for the most part he was merely bored, annoyed or amused - made him feel almost dead.

He knew this was a bad sign.

Somehow Prince Ice-Prick is going to melt, I just can't wait to see him when he finally cracks and all the ooey goodness comes spilling forth!!!! (ok, my mind honestly wasn't in the gutter when I typed that up, but on the re-read...mmmm yeah... >_>)

"He smirked triumphantly. 'Why, your room, of course.'" Damn! If I were in her shoes, I definitely would say "yes!"

So, what will Draco see in Hermione's room? Maybe learn a little bit more about her? Seeing a different side of her? Getting interested in her character? Aww, that would be too much ;)

Loved it as always. I consider it as my early birthday present *g* Hehe, I was so hoping for the next chapter.

Draco-Theo talk was so cool. Haha, Draco admitting he wasn't thinking. *rofl* Yeah, take that ferret!

And this line absolutely made my jaw drop:

"He couldn’t tell Theo how much he had wanted the girl that Theo had a crush on, even if it had all been a temporary insanity."

Yeah, so there is lust... Draco LUSTS after Hermione! Hahahahaha.... ok, he DID lust after her in that moment. But.... OMG :D

Sorry for this nonsense review. I'm just hyperventilating. Muahahaha....

*giggles madly*

Oh, me too... *sighs dreamily* Draco could come to my room any day and we could check out my... furniture... if he liked...

Can't say what'll happen, wench ;)

Oh! Happy Early Birthday :D

*giggles again* Of course there's lust... Where's the fun without lust? ;)

I thought this review was great fun! :D Moar!

Wow. SO much going on in this chapter, I hardly know what to focus on. Chronologically: I loved how Hermione beats Draco on the wand issue, even if it comes back to bite her in the ass. She may as well get her own...uh, ass-biting in while she can!

Nice little detail that Draco anonymously sent a note about Hermione's whereabouts the night before.

The Draco-Theo interaction: well, I basically loved the whole thing. My crush on Theo grew immensely with this line:

“That’s where you’re wrong,” Theo quietly replied. “Granger is very much her own.”

He officially rocks. And Draco continues to show signs of maturity throughout. You know, at this point, I just kinda realized that the story so far is really Draco's, in the classic sense of him being the character who changes. But...it is a WIP afterall. :)

It doesn't say that it was him... ;)

And yeah, I love it when Hermione can get back at him :D Mostly because it's funny ;)

*giggle* Theo love is definitely growing with this ;)

True, I did jump to conclusions about who wrote the note. Hmm...

“Why, your room, of course.”

That will definitely be something never seen in the history of Hogwarts: a Slytherin in the Gryffindor tower!

I absolutely adored that he goes to her table to deliver her wand, even when she gives him the option of giving it to her after the meal, just as long as she gets it before class. Loved that!

Also loved the Draco/Theo interaction. You do write Theo very likable, but I'm still not about to give up on Draco.
I was thinking about it last night, and this will probably be the longest story in the history of Dramione! It's already on the 32th chapter and they didn't even fell in love yet! lol
To be honest, I love that you're taking it slow, otherwise this would never be believable.

I'm eagerly waiting for another chapie!

Take care,
Joana

*grin* I'm sure there are longer stories with longer chapters ;)

Oh, yes, Draco going to the tower is definitely something new ;)

So, you picked up on that, huh? *grin* No comment.

And Theo is really, really popular. It's funny because we don't really know him. But maybe that's the appeal. The mystery. The lack of abundance of flaws that Draco has. ;)
