... or, I suppose, simply anyone with an opinion.
As many of you know, on my chaptered fics I usually put a small preview from the next chapter in the end notes. It amuses me a lot. On Secrets, however, I haven't felt right doing it. Once I put in a preview, that quote is "locked" in my mind and I don't like editing it any more, and Secrets is one of those stories where I like to edit lots and lots and lots right up until the last moment.
So when I posted chapter two, what I did instead was address a few things that had been brought up in reviews for chapter one and just some general things about my choices and the writing process (I talked about the use of OCs, next chapter it might be something else). Just... stuff that can be skipped if you don't care, but still something that seemed to interest some people.
The thing is, I'm not entirely sure how that came across and whether I should keep doing it or just stfu and deliver the chapters without so much commentary. I know it can seem a bit... overbearing when people go on about their writing in the A/Ns.
I would copy the exact note I made into this post, except it's kind of spoilery to those who are waiting until Secrets is finished/further along. If anyone wants it, though, I can copy it into a responding comment. It's fairly TL;DR.
