Kitty's version of retail therapy!
Dear Internet,
Today I've been a bad, bad girl.
Not like that, you pervs.
I spent sooooo much money.
(Today's prices will be in DKK because my head hurts... if you're really curious, go here or to a similar site to convert it. Usually 5-6DKK = 1USD and 10-12DKK = 1GBP)
First, I spent 499DKK on cat food. 10kg of Royal Canin Digestive Comfort 38 to be exact. The vet didn't think she needed to see Modem for her vomiting, but she said that considering my cat's semi-advanced age (both my cats are nine years old) etc, her insides have probably become less functional/more sensitive and she needs a better quality diet. She claimed there was some Royal Canin for 7-10-year-old cats, but I couldn't find that anywhere online. Instead I found this "Digestive Comfort" which specifically is supposed to help with vomiting. But, man... talk about an expensive diet. She did say we could mix it with cheaper stuff, though.
Then, I went to get ink for our printer. Nine cartridges (3 black, 2 yellow/blue/red), one 16GB SD card and 5 vacuum cleaner bags (don't ask) later -- yes, all at the same site -- I was out another 638DKK. But I really did get some awesome deals there, so, meh. And one of those black cartridges was free for some obscure reason. O.o
And then... I went ahead and bought myself a new cellphone.
Yeah, up until then you were probably fairly understanding, huh? XD
Here's the thing, though. This year, for no particular occasion other than needing it, Maz got a new semi-expensive bicycle, a new fancy electrical shaver and a new gaming computer. All stuff that made him happy and made me... well, also happy for him, but scowl with envy as I poked my old netbook with letters worn off the keys and a power jack that doesn't always work, not to mention a fan that's completely died, making me glad I have a fan pad. Not to mention my outdated, clunky, annoying phone that seemed like such a good idea a couple of years ago. And so, when Maz got a tax return of about 3000DKK and I didn't have to pay an additional 9000DKK as I'd thought (and I'd put 6000DKK aside for that) I more or less decided that my turn was coming up. And then when Maz begged my consent to spend €10 (hah! got you there!) on some game on top of everything else, I demanded a carte blanche to buy whichever expensive thing I might want in return and to my semi-surprise got it. I thought about a new netbook -- or an e-book-reader! -- but ultimately, what I'd really appreciate is a new and better phone. And a new provider, 'cause damn I'm sick of 3 screwing me over.
So, long story short, Monday at the latest, I should be the proud owner of an HTC Desire Z. :D
Soooo TL;DR Kitty shouldn't have access to online shopping. But since she does, she's going to be excited about post for a few days. ^_^
