My biology fails!
So, I've been peeing on sticks to see when I was ovulating.
My cycle is 28-32 days so I started on the recommended day for a 28 day cycle and kept at it for a week. Nada happened. I had some sticks left over (had to get 2 kits because I messed up on a couple of the tests) so I decided to just... continue and use 'em all up and get a new kit for next month.
I wasn't terribly surprised that it didn't measure anything. The numbers I found said that by using them 5 days 61% of women got a positive, and using them 7 days 81% got a positive. That means 19% just don't. And that can be chalked to all kinds of shit affecting your ovulation (health, stress etc) and since I haven't had the healthiest of months, colour me unsurprised.
In any case, then I used it this morning (which would be like day 9 or 10) and... I GOT A POSITIVE!! O_O
Hooray, you'd think, right? Running to the bedroom to get the deed done?
Um, no. It's Saturday, so Kupo is home, for one thing. And, for another, Maz's brother is here and they are away roleplaying all day.
It's so typical. X_X
Maz was all "Well, tonight should be soon enough, shouldn't it?" but truth be told, I DON'T KNOW!!! And even if I did know, Maz's brother is here which isn't really my favourite condition to have sex under, plus the two of them usually sit up until all hours of the night... Gah.
Oh, well. I'm HAVING sex tonight. And I'm HAVING it at a reasonable hour. He can go back downstairs again after, I don't care. I suggested to him that he could be honest to his brother about what was going on, but that seemed to embarrass him. I don't care. SEX. TONIGHT. HAPPENING!!!
