Just Another Day!
Yesterday was stressful. Today was a breeze, aside from a phonecall from a very peculiar individual when I was at work. It's kinda funny how life works out like that.
I got my car back today. It had broken, AGAIN. Works now, although the engine still sounds kind of funny to me the first few minutes it starts running. I also fixed my front passenger side door, which wouldn't lock. The mechanic who normally fixes my car said it would cost $100 to fix, and would take a day or two. I did it myself for free in under two minutes. How much do I rock? Granted, the part still probably needs to be replaced eventually, but I get to put that off for awhile longer.
I also got my grade for my field school in Poland this summer. It was a four credit hour class, and I got an A. :-D Theoretically, if I ace my last two classes (a six hour internship and a three hour archaeology class) I could graduate with a 3.71 GPA. I think I can get the A for the internship, but am not too certain on the archaeology class. I have had the same teacher for two other classes and never pulled a higher grade than an A-. But as of right now my GPA is 3.68, so as long as I don't mess up too badly, I'll still graduate well above 3.5, which gives me a cum laude on my degree. I'm totally psyched about this, as I am still bitter (only a little) about not making the top ten percent in my high school class, despite having a 4.01 GPA.
Off to edit an anime episode now. Should've done it last night, but the Tigers were on. And Tigers playoff baseball trumps all other things in life. ;-)
