It's Getting Better All the Time...
So today was a much better day. Talked to my mom a bit, and it seems we are on the mend. Having a night to sleep on things plus the time to get over my upset-ness really made a difference. I'm still a little iffy on whether or not I want to go home this summer, but will cross that bridge when I come to it.
Classes went great, got to watch an episode of "The New Detectives: Case Studies in Forensic Investigation" in Forensic Anthropology today, which was awesome 'cause that is a show that I watch for fun in my own spare time. We also got to see some slides on the process of reconstructing a person's face using just their skull...pretty spiffy. Also took a field trip to Midland to see some museums, saw the Bradley House for the first time since I was in grade school. It is this really neat, old victorian house furnished with period pieces and decorations.
Tomorrow is looking like it will be pretty dull. History class followed by an afternoon jam-packed with homework. Yippie! If I'm lucky, I will get through the sociology chapter I have to read, and at least a hundred pages of the reading I need to do for history. I have to get through a 300 page book by Thursday, and so far am only on page 80. Yikes. I'm not holding my breath that I will make it all the way through, but am determined to do as much as I possibly can before my brains start to dribble out of my nose.
