I miss Kelli so much. I think part of the reason I don't call her as often as I used to (besides being incredibly overwhelmed with work and school all the time) is that it's so hard for me to think that she might be going to Iraq. I just keep praying that she'll make it out before getting deployed - it's only nine more months now...
I know the likelihood of her coming back to Boston when she gets out is slim, but even just knowing she's safe, well, safer will be good. She's changed a lot since she went in, but she's still my girl...
