Illness of the week
I can't stop sneezing and I can't sleep. Reading a little. Fatherland by Robert Harris. Disturbing dectective, what if book. What if WW2 never ended and Hitler never died? Interesting but Pompeii by Harris was much better.
I'm in a cooking frenzy these days. Gives me something to think about and to distract me from myself when I get depressed. It was kinda funny the other day when I thought it would be nice to make something British, a Cottage Pie, and Dan had the same thing for lunch. I've been pouring over my Nigella Lawson cook books just because I love the style of her writing and the little stories she tells in the run up to the recipes. Memories, ponderings, etc. Its just pleasant to read when curled up on the couch.
