Christmas Continued, Comparisons, Mimi, & New Years Upcoming
Gee golly I've been busy. Today I'll update for the masses, so every bitch that wishes to, can read by "best seller." Anywho, I had Christmas with Kris last night. He got me a membership to the Official Mariah Fan Club! WOO HOO! I get a tshirt, a calendar exclusive only to members of this club, and I get advanced sales on all concert tickets before they go public as well as music downloads to music unreleased by the diva herself. Speaking of Mimi, she has officially taken the throne as THE artist with THE highest selling cd of 2005! This is major. Take that, bitches.
Anyway, one of the gifts I got Kris for Christmas was Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo. As he had never been fortunate enough to sample this comedy before, we watched it last night. Then, against my better judgement, I joined $DW$ and Teague at Tinks for a drink. Lakisha was there as well as a former someone I once worked with.
Work is going great. I've caught the swing of things here rather quickly. My coworkers all are pretty nice. Ashley and I have noticed numerous similarities to people here and of our former workplace in terms of personalities. It's pretty funny actually. Here's an excerpt from an email sent out by the manager welcoming the new employees:
"I almost forgot to mention Eric Way in Quality Control! Eric can type faster than most people can talk. He has been a welcome addition to our QC Department with his great attitude and enthusiasm. We spent some time looking for our next QC person and are so glad we finally found him. Welcome to RETS, Eric!"
I have Christmas with my friend Todd tonight and then I'm pretty much finished with that. I still need to get Jeff S. his gift but that'll be it. Yay!
I'm excited for this weekend. Yancy invited me to his party so I'm gonna do that with $DW$ and then head out for a night of who knows what. Yay!
