The Nice Things People Say
I received this message from someone at my "former place of employment" that is really nice: "i just wanted to let you know that the responses i have seen on some of the girls' faces here have been a tribute to how good you were at your job. i don't know the whole story but i just wanted to tell you that you are really missed by the girls, which i'm sure you could have guess. take care." Things like that can really make someone feel good. It's really nice when someone you don't even know goes out of their way to tell you something like that.
