I don't personally like it, but I know there are some people who don't mind so much.
It was a nice way that I could think of, to test whether Andy had been smoking or not. LOL, I kept thinking about the line from Forest Gump when he kissed the prostitute and said "She tasted like cigarettes." :)
I've never been fond of smoke... when I was a child (like 5 years old) my aunt smoked like a chimney and I wanted to smoke too. So she let me. I did NOT like it after one puff.. but she made me finish the whole cigarette... LOL... I never wanted to smoke again. To this day the scent of smoke gives me a headache. :)
You have no idea how much this: "Andy smirked. “Will we be eating lunch, or will I be lunch?” Miranda smiled and licked her lips. “Yes.” ...helped in this terrible, no good, very bad day I am having. Mirandy always helps!
They have to do their rounds... but I think he just thought it was so full of perfume and such that no one would know about the smoke, so he took the opportunity to relax there.
I was glad to see new work from you. Cute story. So glad the book was done. Although the couch in Miranda's office could have been wonderful too. Oh and "Kiss of Cherry" nice touch.

But everyone is free to do with their lungs what they want, as long as it's not mine.

I too was torn, but for some reason I like the thought of them at the townhouse for the weekend. :)
If they'd gone to the couch then they'd have just had to move later.
glad you liked the story.
