Cats are predictable and amusing

We're getting a puppy this weekend! Last night we had an inspection by the rescue service to make sure the condo was okay, and then we went out and picked up some puppy supplies. We thought we'd better start putting the dishes and toys out to give the cats a chance to start getting used to them, and we were joking about how the kitties would probably steal all the puppy's things.
Before I went to bed last night, I got up to go to the bathroom and the puppy's new toy hedgehog had been deposited dead center in my doorway.
This morning I brought it back downstairs. Monet just brought it back up.
Looks like we have a little preemptive sibling rivalry going on here. ^_^
