I shouldn't even mention this. I should not mention it, because I'm going to jinx it and then I will be sorry. But I have to tell somebody!
Today I was supposed to be working on that period film I mentioned, J. Edgar, but I got a call from the background casting guy just now. Apparently my costume didn't make it onto the wardrobe truck, so they can't use me today. Instead, they're going to reschedule me for another day later when they need "student radicals." And - this is it - to make it up to me for canceling at the last minute (I was literally going to leave for set in an hour), he's going to try and get me a SAG voucher when they do use me, which will probably be next Thursday.
You guys, that would be my third voucher. THAT WOULD BE MY SAG ELIGIBILITY. O.O
I told him so, and I'm really, really hoping he follows through on this. I am so ready. I even have the exorbitant SAG joining fee set aside in my savings account, from when I sold my car two weeks ago.
Please send me good vibes! I'm going to be on pins and needles until this happens!
