"You disturb me..."
Tonight's Psych had some very lovely moments. It had everything from jealously to self-realizations and death-bed confessions.
Oh my did you see Lassie's face when he was questioning Gus about his date with an older woman? To Shawn, Jules and Lassie were in full mock mode, but when Gus came out their exchange just seemed very much like jealousy/getting caught stepping out before it quickly turned into the 'I was right and you were wrong' competition.
Though one of my favorite moments of all time will be this exchange.
Jules: "You disturb me and your theory on this murder disturbs me and you disturb me."
Lassiter: "You said that twice"
Jules: "Yes" (with a look of because it needed to be repeated)
Of course this came just after Lassie was talking about moving on to another set of pecs and enjoying the soft supple flesh of a man-buck. And yet it was before the whole weirdness between Lassiter and the suspect.
Followed closely by Shawn's wish for when his dad is on his deathbed in four or five years and to look at Shawn and say 'That-that is the man I raised' and for him to be pointing at some other guy because that means that maybe, just maybe, he is not his biological son.
And after that scene in the hospital can you blame him? I actually applauded his dream
Seriously, ifreet, I think you're right and Henry has reverted completely back to his sick twisted form of hands-on-parenting ways. I cringed when he did that thing with the IV.
.....there were other moments that led to much enjoyment, but alas yet another interesting conversation with Aniki has made me loose my train of thought.
