Ah the Joys of Young Family as Influenced By a Crazy Aunt
So I have a thing for untradtional holiday songs. And a few years back decided to share my love of these things with my brother in law by purchasing Twisted Christmas by Twisted Sister and We wish you a Metal X-mas...and a Headbanging New Year by a variety of metal artists.
My niece and nephew particularly enjoy Alice Cooper singing Santa Claus Claws is Coming to Town. On the cd there is a rendition of Silent Night that is not so much sung and screamed into the mike...ala Korn. And it's hysterical.
....Except that Christmas Eve at Mass Todd had the foresight to tell Tyler not to sing it that way when the song started. To which Tyler protested that he wouldn't have anyway...and then Grace begins...in her best deep, demon-posessed voice 'SI--LENT NI--GHT!'. Debbi of course is shaking her head as Todd reaches over to silence his little angel.
