Mash-ups
Anyone out there good at making musical mash-ups?
My HS class is performing (hopefully) at this years Lip-Sync Contest. We chose the to do a Motown theme and we've picked the songs:
Get Ready ('Cause Here I Come) by the Temptations
and
Do You Love Me? (Now That I Can Dance) by the Contours
We're thinking about starting with some 'Get ready cause here I come' repeats and having our guys enter from the back and from there not entirely sure when to switch songs over and when to go back.
Performing is one girl and six or seven guys. So there'll be a lot of singing to her...and we've got a couple of kids working on coming up with choreography steps, but it'd be nice if we knew how we were mixing the songs before break so people could practice.
Max time of 4:30.
Anyone have suggestions--or um, copies of the songs? Or mixing capabilities?
