Rant time. Cover your ears.

For example, open Windows Media Player, go to the search portion(where they feed you a rather large amount of sucky "musicians") and type in Inuyasha. You'll get a rather bullshit-esque answer. "No results could be found".
Pure bullshit.
Then type in anime. Pretty straight forward. You get 1086 files. I'll come back to this.
Type in the name of any random pop star. Lindsey Lohan, Hillary Duff. Someone. For this experiment, I'm using 50 Cent, a rather popular "star" in my area. 102 hits.
Now many of you who dislike hate rap music as I do must be saying, "Well, what's the problem? Anime has ten times as many hits."
Look again.
Anime COLLECTIVELY has ten times as many hits. This means that out of those 1086, about ten will relate to Inuyasha. Out of those 10, about 2 of them will relate to DNAngel. And about 50 of them will relate to anime titles that I've never heard of.
Think about this: While any bimbo pop star who gets a mike put in her hand gets her own 100 or so files, the wonderful artists from Revolutionary Girl Utena(or Inuyasha, or DNAngel) are clumped together with no real reason.
Or, you could look at it this way: This is making me fear typing in Led Zeppelin for fear of them being grouped together with hacks who only WISH they could use a guitar.
Or another: Samurai Champloo(which I truly do love) and the song Silver Bells (Inuyasha song) are examples of rap music and anime linking together. Very nice, but not what I'd like on a search engine.
Or even better: A Link to The Pillows' Instant Music
Look at the last verse of that link:
Instant Music
It's flooding the world
Adults are growing fat
Resistant Music
Okay, so plug your ears
Well, f*ck that!

I am easily relating. Actually, I'm relating to the entire song.
The point I'm trying to make is this: Anime should not be clumped together with one another for the sake of idiocy. I should be able to type in Rinbu Revolution and have a measly two links show up. I should NOT have to type in anime and wade through layers of other results(I will not say bullshit because some of it is good music) just to find those two links.
With that, I shall hand this over to the *ahem* gentlemen at Windows Media Player and see what they make of it.

EDIT: Or at least I would if they would show their e-mail address or feedback button!!! (I'm having visions of Kouga saying "Coward! Lost your nerve, huh?" to these people from behind a glass door)
