That's Probably What Was Wrong With Me

You guys, I actually wrote something. Last week, during the evening after work, I suddenly felt the urge to grab Pollux and pick up my edited chapters for 'Colours'. I spent the evening - and the next - reading what I'd written, fixing minor errors and generally thinking about how I want to go about wrapping one of them up.

I also started rehashing one of them, thinking I'd got its premise wrong.

I'm definitely rusty and not sure I'll be able to keep what I've written, but am so very happy that I've found the motivation to keep working on my fanfiction so easily.

Maybe I really needed that last holiday, after spending these mind-numbing one and a half years at work without pause. Maybe a little bit of relaxation is going to bring it all back.

If that is so, I'll need to take care I'm not going to fall back into the stress I've been in, since it seems to sap me off energy more than I like and turns me into a person I don't like.

And maybe I'll have to take more drastic means to achieve that. Acquiring a place to call 'home' will be the first step. After that, we will see.

I've decided I'm going to post another batch of my Cambodia pictures soon.

Also, I'll try to pick up the tatters of my 'Colours' rewrite more often. fenikkusuken and quillwing717, there's an 'Escaflowne'-related problem I have stumbled across. I wouldn't mind discussing it with someone familiar with this series. Have you got a little time to act as a sounding board?
