i fall on the floor laughing
Today was so hectic! I had the SAT, work, and the surprise party that I hosted for Christine - scheduling conflicts always seem to fall on me all at once!
I had breakfast with Kelly at La Madeline before That Test. I love working in a resturant, we had alot of fun playing around with all the food this morning. I had strawberries with a good dousing of liquour and a wonderful latte; I was good and relaxed/caffinated for the SAT. The SAT wasn't too bad, except for the length, four hours! The touted essay was actually kindof fun, at least the board can make up semi-meaningful topics, not at all like their Texas counterparts.
Work was tiring, as usual. Today was rather slow so I actually got a break. I had forgotten what to do with a break - I ended up just kindof hanging around the bakery. Arjun came in while I was off, actually. I couldn't talk to him though because they would have just put me back on. My boss is so spiteful; he put more whipped cream on me today!
The surprise party went pretty perfectly. Christine had such a scare! She attempted to run back to her car. hehe. Josh and I caught her of course. The band was absolutely awesome and I think everyone had alot of fun. The fire got alittle out of hand I suppose, what with Omeid jumping over it and dousing it with all the lighter fluid, but the antics were entertaining. Hehe, sorry Sam, for getting frosting in your hair - you got it all over my anthropologie skirt! And Dan and Grant, I don't think I've ever been tackled quite like that before; appriciation for the help with Sam though. Thanks to everyone who helped clean up!
3am and I still can't sleep...lovely. I'm waiting for the fire to go out.
