Final Chapter
They were now sitting outside the emergency room... everyone were silently waiting for the operation to end.
Ryo’s wound was now wrapped in bandages but the wound in his heart was growing more and more painful from each passing second... chinen is sitting beside him, the bruises on his body was also taken care of.
“police called.” Pi said when he get back after he excused his self to take the call a moment ago.
“they were brought to the other hospital...” he said referring to koki and yuuki.
“tanaka koki peacefully went to jail after his wound was treated...”
“and the other one?” tegoshi asked.
“they said that tanaka yuuki will be sent to an mental ward to be examined...” pi answered. “it seems that the younger tanaka was so crazy in love with his brother.”
All of them sighed in relief. Except from ryo who is still looking at the emergency door...
“it will be alright...” jin said while holding ryo’s shoulder.
“he’s been through this before. I’m sure he will be back again...”
Ryo was going to answer back when the door opened and minami and the doctor walked outside the room.
“what happened? Is he ok?” ryo quickly asked when he reach the doctor.
“we already took out the bullet from ueda-san’s body...” the doctor said making ryo sighed in relief.
“but...”
Ryo look back at the doctor. “but what?”
“the patient lost a lot of blood nishikido-san...” the doctor said. “and the bullet made though a vital part on his heart...”
“what do you mean?” ryo said.
“right now he is in coma. And I’m afraid that his heart will stop beating if he didn’t wake up as soon as possible...” the doctor answered.
“no...” ryo said and jin managed to catch him when his body almost fell into the ground.
“ryo?” jin said when he felt ryo was shaking. “ryo are you alright.
But ryo didn’t have strength to answer. He suddenly can’t breathe, making him clutch hard at jin’s arm.
“RYO!!” jin shouted.
“get him to the other room, quick!!” the doctor said and minami and the other nurses quickly put ryo on the hospital bed.
“what will we do??” juri asked as they look at the people pushing the bed inside the emergency room.
“pray...” kazuya answered.
“we just have to pray...”
“tatsuya?”
“ryo?”
“where are you?”
“I don’t know...”
“where are you?”
“I don’t know...”
“but we have to get back... right?”
“yeah...”
“but we have to find each other first...”
“you’re right...”
“just keep talking ok?”
“ok...”
Days passed... but neither tatsuya or ryo are waking up. Everyone is taking their turns to watch over them while chinen and juri continued to go to school...
“no! you can’t let him in!!” kazuya almost shouted at the officer who is now holding tanaka koki.
“I just want to see him... kamenashi-kun...” koki said. “please, let me see him one last time...”
“don’t worry kamenashi-san...” the officer said. “we will assure you that nothing will happen to ueda-san and nishikido-san...”
After a moment of pleading from koki and the assurance from the officer... kazuya opened the door and let the two walk inside the room.
“hime...” koki said as he stand beside tatsuya’s bed.
“I’m sorry... I didn’t know this will happen...” he continued as the tears fall from his eyes...
“I don’t know if you’ll forgive me... but I really am sorry...” he said and hold tatsuya’s hand.
“please wake up...” he said and reached inside his shirt to pull something from his neck.
“I hope this can help you...” he said and made tatsuya hold a feather.
“it’s your son’s...” he said. “please forgive me hime...”
The officer hold his arm, making koki turned to him and nod. They walked to the door and koki thanked kazuya.
“koki?”
The three of them turned around and saw tatsuya turning his head towards them...
“oh my god...” koki said.
“I’ll call the doctor...” kazuya said and run outside the door...
“koki?” tatsuya said again making koki walk near him.
“hime you’re awake...” koki said and fresh tears began to fall from his eyes...
“thank you koki...” tatsuya said. “and I forgive you...”
Hearing that, koki fell on his knees and cried hard...
“thank you...” he said. “thank you...”
Tatsuya smiled. And again, he closed his eyes and drifted to sleep.
“ryo?”
“tatsuya?”
“why are you still not here?”
“impatient huh?”
“I want to get back... but...”
“but what?”
“I won’t get back without you...”
“I SWEAR HE OPENED HIS EYES!!!” kazuya said. “he called tanaka’s name and he opened his eyes.
They were now inside the room. Kazuya called all of them after he called the doctor.
But tatsuya eyes were closed when the doctor came in... still sleeping like he was days ago... koki went back to jail after they arrive.
“but why he’s still asleep?” jin asked.
Kazuya was going to answer when tegoshi and chinen walk inside. Juri and junno following them.
“dada’s awake??” chinen said and walk towards his parents. He frowned when he saw tatsuya was still sleeping.
“he opened his eyes..” kazuya said. “when koki place you feather...”
“my feather??” chinen was surprised. He look at tatsuya’s hand and saw his feather tightly wrap on his father’s hand.
“that’s it!!!” tegoshi said. “you can wake them up chinen!!”
All of them look at tegoshi...
“the feather’s power!! Your power chinen!! Wake them up!!”
“papa? Dada?”
“chinen??”
“I’m here!!”
“where?”
“follow my voice!!”
Ryo and tatsuya walked towards the voice...
“papa!! Dada!! I’m here!!!”
The two keep walking... until they saw a light...
